ISDP is an Android app that was developed for the International Sensor Development Project. It lets you connect to sensors and check the measurement table.
The project
The International Sensor Development Project was a cooperation work between Metropolia UAS and University of Osnabrück which included eight participants from each institution. The purpose of the project was to build a domestic weather station prototype, collecting as much useful data as possible.
Team of four students from the electronics department were to create the Indoor Sensor Unit. Four from embedded programming were working on the CPU, and eight others from Germany were building an Outdoor Sensor Unit.
According to plan, outdoor and indoor units would be connected with RF links. Main processing block would be wired with the microcontroller, which is gathering data from indoor sensors.
What it offers
The application is intended to collect data from temperature and humidity sensors. Bluetooth is required in order to make a connection just like in StickNFind.
It is possible to search for sensors nearby and select which one to connect to. You will then be able to view its measurement table. It contains maximum, minimum and latest values with the corresponding unit of measure.
