Kanawha County Public Library is an application for Android devices that is the mobile client of the public library of the American County of Kanawha, West Virginia. With this utility, users can create an account and read electronic versions of books.
Account and content
This application features a simple and user-friendly interface. At the start, you need to register and issue a library card or indicate its number if you are already a client.
The personal account tab displays your data as well as information about the borrowed books. On the main page of the application, there is a listing of its main features as well as a selection of recently added books.
At the top of the screen, you can find a search box that allows you to look for the items you need in an extensive catalog. Books can be sorted by title, author, year of issue, and format.
Furthermore, this app allows you to search e-books and audiobooks, as well as determine the availability of paper copies in the library.

There is a built-in barcode scanner that allows you to read ISBN located on the back of the cover. With it, you can view information about the book you need and find out where you can get a copy of it. Moreover, there is a separate tab that allows you to search for the nearest county libraries. Their addresses and hours of operation are indicated. You can see photos and also determine the location on the map.
It is worth noting that this utility offers not only books but also music and video content, as well as magazines and newspapers.
