Kindle is an Android application that allows users to read e-books and listen to their audio versions. The utility provides access to an online store containing a vast selection of English-language literature, ranging from fresh bestsellers to classic works.
Layout
The homepage of the application displays the literature catalog. Books are categorized into such categories as: new releases, most popular, Wishlist, quick reads, and more.
The next tab is dedicated to the user’s personal library. Here you can store all purchased books, both in text and audio formats. Swiping left takes you to the online store tab, where you can search, select, and purchase new reading.
In the separate menu you can find account and reading settings.
Account Creation
You can access the application without signing up. However, creating an account is necessary to synchronize reading progress across different devices, as well as to receive in special offers and discounts.
Reading
The utility offers various customization options for adjusting the reading experience to your preferences. You can choose a preferred font, adjust highlighting, create bookmarks, and highlight text fragments. Additionally, instant translation and definition lookup for unfamiliar words are available thanks to the built-in dictionary.
