Kringl is an Android application that is designed to create short fake videos that prove the existence of Santa Claus. The utility allows you to superimpose its images on the frames taken by your camera.
Scenarios
The utility asks for permission to access the mobile device’s camera. At the start, you need to film a short video of your living room, decorated for Christmas. The application allows you to select five different scenarios involving Santa:
- he checks the list of children to give gifts;
- puts a bag of toys on the floor;
- he is looking for a gift in a bag;
- Santa tastes your milk and the cookies;
- he notices that he is being filmed.
Each of these scenarios can be overlaid on your video.
Remarks and results
It is worth noting that users in the process of shooting will need to combine the interior of the room and the overlay picture. For greater realism, it is necessary that the image of Santa’s feet touch the floor and not overlap with the furniture.
You can save the received clip in the memory of your mobile device. Then you may share it with friends and family via social networks and instant messengers.
It is worth noting that the application is completely free, but users are offered to make some donations.
Note
This app is currently inactive. The developers have probably stopped supporting it.
