KTM MY RIDE is an Android application designed for KTM motorcycle owners. Bikers can connect their smartphone to their speeding vehicle and access the functions of the mobile device.
Remote control
The utility has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. Thanks to this, drivers can quickly access the necessary functions without distracting themselves from controlling the motorcycle. The app requires Bluetooth and an Internet connection to work correctly.
KTM MY RIDE allows navigation commands to be transmitted to the dashboard. Based on the selected route, information about turns, junction layouts, distance to the target and arrival time will appear. It is possible to activate the voice guidance, which is available in several languages.
You can manage the playback of the music album. Using the left switch on the steering wheel, the driver may select tracks in the playlist as well as adjust the volume. Another useful option is controlling incoming calls. It is possible to receive and reject calls.
Availability
To save Internet traffic and in case you are in regions without cellular service, you can preload maps of a certain area. It is possible to create and save a route with additional marks along the way. This option is available in FATMAP, designed for mountain climbers.
During testing it turned out that the application does not perform the declared functions. The developers have suspended its update in 2021.
