Kview is an application for Android devices that is designed to customize the lock screen of your smartphone. The utility allows you to choose a theme, as well as place various useful information, such as notifications or a clock widget.
Interface and options
The application features a simple and concise interface. It has only two main tabs – Themes and Settings. In the first section, you can view the proposed options for the design of the lock screen. Unfortunately, their number is limited. You may select any of the six variants by tapping on its picture.
Next, it is necessary to click the Set button. Thus, the theme for the lock screen will be installed. In order for the application to work correctly, you need to give it some permissions:
- to display on top of other programs;
- to access notifications.
The utility offers to place on the lock screen a widget with a clock and the current date, as well as icons that display notifications from such apps:
- email;
- instant messengers and social networks, for example, Qzone or WeChat.
Also, users can receive messages about missed calls.
The Settings tab allows you to activate the selected theme for the lock screen. In addition, you can manage permissions and check for updates to the utility from here.
Notes
It is worth noting that the app does not perform its functions correctly. The lock screen with the right icons is not always displayed. This utility has not received an update for a long time, thus, the developers have stopped supporting it.
