LeafSnap is an Android application that allows you to identify different types of plants including herbs, shrubs, flowers, and trees. There is an extensive database with photos and detailed information.
How it works
This application uses the mobile device’s camera to identify plants. You need to point the lens at the flower or tree you are interested in. After a few seconds, artificial intelligence will process the image and display the result.
On the main page of the utility, you can see the name of the plant, its photos, recommendations for watering and lighting, tips for growing and feeding, as well as information about diseases and pests.
The app allows you to identify about 90% of all known plant species. Its huge database is constantly updated.
Plants and tasks
Moreover, you can take pictures of the plants you have at home and find useful information about them. The utility helps to create cards and place them in a separate tab My plant.
Furthermore, there is a Task section where a tracker is located. It reminds you of watering, feeding, and other types of care for your home plants.
