LocalCast is an Android application, a well-known versatile casting platform. This utility allows users to send videos, music, or images from their phone, tablet, other apps, webpages, Dropbox, Google Drive, and NAS. It is possible to stream media via Chromecast, Smart TV, Apple TV, Smart TV, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One, or other DLNA devices.
Interface and casting
LocalCast has a simple concise interface. You just need to select the device you want to cast to and then choose the media source you want to stream from. It is possible to browse your local files, cloud storage, web browser, or other apps that support broadcasting.

Additional options
The Now playing tab allows you to zoom, rotate, and pan pictures using the button with the four arrows. You can adjust the subtitle timing, font, background, and color. Integration with Opensubtitles.org is provided.
Moreover, you may stream the sound to your phone and use it as a wireless headphone. It is possible to unlock the Pro version of the utility by subscribing. There are additional options including no ads, search, and video preview.
