Мijn DHL is an Android application created in collaboration with a well-known mail delivery service. The utility allows residents of the Netherlands to send, receive and track packages. The app interface is available in English and Dutch.
Registration
For authorization, you need to provide a phone number and an email. In addition, it is advisable to enter your location so that the utility can determine the nearest DHL offices. If you want to receive parcels at home, you have to enter your address in the special field.
Items and tracking
There is the Dashboard tab that allows you to track all the packages sent by you and heading to you. The Receive section allows you to track your local and international postal items.
Moreover, there is a special window where you can enter the tracking number of the parcel. This service is able to determine at what stage of delivery it is.
The Send tab allows you to arrange the sending of a post item. First, you need to select standard or fast delivery, and also specify the type: envelope, mailbox package, or parcel.
The application helps you to immediately calculate the approximate cost of the delivery service. Additionally, you can configure the parameters for receiving parcels. For example, it is possible to choose work or a neighbor’s address if you are not at home. Furthermore, you may specify a convenient time for you to meet with the courier.
