MoviePass is an Android application that allows US residents to receive passes and discounts in more than 4,000 movie theaters located in various cities of the country. The utility helps to issue a card and take part in the loyalty program. A ticket booking is provided.
Registration
To use the application, you need to create an account in it. Also, you have to provide an email address. After the authorization, you will receive a MoviePass discount card. It is valid in more than 4,000 US movie theaters.
Theaters and tickets
This utility contains a list of all supported movie theaters. Users can select the nearest one using the built-in interactive map. To do this, they need to turn on GPS navigation.
After selecting a theater, you can look for its repertoire for the coming days. There is a schedule of screenings with the names of films and times. It is possible to view availability and book tickets. Payment is made directly through the application using bank cards.
During entering the cinema, the application registers users and provides them with an electronic pass.
Regular customers can take part in promotions and receive discounts on tickets. It is also possible to view the catalog of films, including upcoming and most popular ones.
Note
Please note that it is not possible to create a new account in the application. The utility is active only for already-registered users. According to the developers, at the moment they are working on an updated version of the program with extended functionality.
