My Radar is an Android app that provides users with real-time weather information and radar data. It is necessary to choose your city from the dropdown list or enter its name manually.
Radar map and layers
When you open My Radar, you see a map of your current location with animated live radar data. You can zoom in and out using pinch gestures and pan around by dragging your finger. Information in the utility is updated every few minutes. This allows you to see the latest weather conditions in your area and track storms or cyclones as they move.
The app provides a wide range of layers that you can toggle on and off to customize your view of the weather. These include radar data, satellite imagery, temperature maps, winds, hurricanes, earthquakes, frontal boundaries, and much more.
Additional options
There is a precipitation model that provides hour-by-hour forecasts of how much precipitation you can expect in your area. Also, this app offers alerts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for severe weather events such as tornadoes, flash floods, and so on. A detailed tracker allows you to monitor the path of hurricanes and tropical storms in real-time mode.
You can access the utility’s settings by tapping the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen. Here, you may customize various parameters, such as the units of measurement, the radar loop length, and the app’s appearance.
