NemID is an Android application that allows you to secure your account by two-factor authentication. There is an option to login using your fingerprint.
Purpose
With this utility you can authenticate your accounts on mobile banking services. It is possible to confirm various money operations digitally. All you have to do is request a special code that is displayed on the homepage. Moreover, there is an option to sign your documents online without any visits and paperwork.
How it works
In order to use this app, you need to complete the registration process and enter your NemID number. It is also necessary to be a customer of banks or services that support this utility. When you enter the homepage, you can see the instructions that help you to understand the main option of this tool.
If you would like to enter some digital platform or mobile banking app, you may request a 4 digit code. There is an option to authenticate several accounts at the same time. Unlike UBA Secure Pass, NemID does not send notifications about logins.
Please note that the application is available only in Denmark. Moreover, there are several rules and terms that people have to follow in order to use this utility.
