Newgrounds is an Android application of the eponymous entertainment website. There is a great community of artists, game developers, musicians, voice actors and writers, somewhat similar to Substack.
Platform
This app is the mobile client of the well-known entertainment website. Here you will find user-generated content, such as games, films, audio, and artwork. There is a community of talented creators who share their projects on the platform. The registration is optional. However, if you want to vote, comment on, earn achievements and submit posts, it is required to sign up.
All the content can be uploaded and categorized into one of several tabs — Games, Movies, Audio and Art. The materials related to the former two have to undergo the process called “judgment”, where they can be rated by users. The average score determines whether these posts will be added to the database or deleted with only its reviews saved in the separate section.
Availability
You should note that the platform seems to be unavailable at the moment. It is not possible to launch the app and access the content. It is safe to assume that the developers stopped maintaining the utility. Nevertheless, you can still visit the eponymous website without any problems.
