NewsBreak is an Android application mainly focused on local news for each individual State or City. It is possible to get recommended content according to your preferences.
Feed
The homepage of the app includes the news feed with recommended videos and headlines. The content is divided into various categories, including Local, COVID, Jobs, Entertainment, Sports, Science, and more.
After signing in to the app, you will be able to comment, share, and like any post in the feed. There is also a search bar where you may enter any category, topic, or even location name. The results can be sorted by relevance and date.

There is a separate tab where you can discover all available contributors, including local news publishers. In order to start getting news from your favorite sources, you have to follow them. This step allows you to manually create your personal news feed.

You can find the most recent activities of the followed contributors in the Notifications tab. Here you can instantly get the latest news and find out about upcoming events.
In addition, this section of the app provides you access to your conversations in the comments, so you do not have to search for posts to respond to other users.
