Newzroom Africa is an Android application that is the official mobile client of the eponymous news channel well-known in South Africa. It broadcasts not only across this country but across all the continent via the DStv satellite service.
Themes and broadcasting
With this application, users can access local and international news. The channel is broadcast 24/7. Here are news programs on various themes, for example, criminal, sports, local, global, politics, economics, elections, and so on.
There is a Favorites tab where users can locate the most interesting news programs marked with a star. The main page of the application presents the latest, trending, and most discussed news.
Additional options
This utility can be used without registration. At the same time, account holders get access to some additional features. The app can send them reminders about the airtime of their favorite programs. They are displayed in the notification bar with the s[ecial sign.
