OpenRice is an Android application that allows people in China, Thailand and other Asian countries to search for restaurants and cafes. Thanks to the utility, they can make reservations and view the menu electronically. It is also possible to order and collect food. Information on discounts and special offers from catering establishments is also available.
Search for a café
To use the app, you need to provide access to your mobile device’s location or manually select a city. A list of nearby cafes and restaurants will be displayed.
It is possible to use filters by selecting the type of cuisine. The ability to sort establishments by distance is supported. Users can find descriptions and photos of the dishes on offer, as well as reviews from other visitors.
Booking and payment
OpenRice allows you to book a table at the restaurant of your choice. It is also possible to place an order using your mobile device. To do this, you have to open the electronic menu and select the dishes you want. Before doing so, you need to create an account or log in with your Facebook account.
You have the option of paying the bill. To do this, please, link a bank card to your account and scan the QR code.
