OptumRX is an Android application that is created in collaboration with the eponymous pharmaceutical benefit management company. With this utility, US residents can control their prescriptions and receive various benefits for health insurance holders.
Prescriptions management
Please note that only owners of the OptumRX ID can enter the application. This utility stores all your medical prescriptions in a separate tab, similar to Publix Pharmacy. It is possible to select pills and compare their prices in different pharmacies.
Home delivery of medicines is provided. The utility allows you to place an order and then track its status. You can choose the date and time convenient for you to receive your pills.
Additionally, the application offers you to manage your medical prescriptions and update them. For frequently used pills, you can set up automatic replenishment of your home first aid kit. The utility has a built-in calendar with which you can choose dates and set reminders.
Profile
It is possible to view your Optum RX ID card details. A separate section displays information about your health insurance, coverage amounts, and benefits for you and your family members.
