In order to start using the service, you have to create a profile first. You should enter your Bancontact card details and link your bank account for this purpose. It is also necessary to provide some personal information and generate a four-digit PIN code.

This data can be either encoded in a QR Code or issued by Payconiq Beacon terminals through Bluetooth or NFC.
