Platinum Digital Songbook is an application for Android devices that is a catalog of music tracks. The official utility is developed by Vismay International and is a companion for Platinum karaoke players popular in the Philippines.
Basic opportunities
Please note that the application does not play sound, unlike Smule. It is not a karaoke player and is intended only for searching as well as selecting new songs.
The main page of the application presents an extensive catalog of tracks. They are sorted into the following headings:
- new;
- favorites;
- training and others.
It is possible to choose your karaoke player from the list and select songs specifically for it. You can search by track title and artist name. For this, a special window is provided that is located at the top of the screen.
Additional functions
There is an option to mark tracks with hearts and add them to the list of favorites. Each song in the catalog has its individual number. It can be found on the DVD or hard disk of the karaoke player.
Additionally, the application can work as a remote control. It is possible to select songs by number, control the volume, play tracks and stop them.
It is worth noting that at the moment the app is outdated and the developers plan to stop supporting it. They created a new utility with advanced options.
