Play HQ is an application for Android devices that contains an extensive selection of TV shows, series, and animations. It is possible to watch them using the built-in player.
Content library
The application contains a selection of well-known films that have already gained popularity, as well as new ones. This utility is designed primarily for Spanish-speaking users. There is a content library that is located on the main page. Here they can view the following categories:
- well-known;
- in trend;
- new and others.
Separate sections are provided for films, series, and animations. They can be sorted by genre, year of release, country, and so on.
You may view the contents of the categories by scrolling through them with swipes. There is a search box where you can enter a name or a keyword.
All content is provided with images and short descriptions. The duration of the film, release date, country, genre, director, and list of main actors are indicated. Also, there are official trailers and teasers of the movies.
Media player
This utility has a built-in media player. It allows you to watch animations, movies, and series in both portrait and landscape modes. You can stop playback, rewind the video and adjust the sound.
Note
During testing, it turned out that the application does not perform the declared functions. It has not been updated for some period of time. Apparently, the developers stopped supporting it.
