QuipSphere is an Android application that provides access to a voice-based social media network. This means that you can properly convey your thoughts as opposed to text and images.
Concept
The concept of this social media app is quite new, because it focuses on users’ voice recordings. Although there are fewer users compared to Pink Facebook or Twitter, it has a potential due to its non-traditional approach in connecting people.
How to use
After signing up, you will be taken to the main page with five sections. This includes Campfire, Newsfeed, Record as well as Chats and Spheres.
If you press Campfire, three tabs will appear. Topics presents you various threads that you can join by recording a message with attached photo or GIF. Quippers provides you with a list of active users who can be followed. The last one is Spheres, where it is possible to create and stick to “spheres” that are similar to Topics’ threads.
Newsfeed shows the posts of people you followed. You can reply to their quips with your audio recordings. The Chat section shows the history of your private messages.
Note
Please note that the app presumably is no longer supported. You will not be able to sign up for an account or login. In addition to the above, the newest update was released in 2016.
