Rainboo is a weather application working in South Africa. The service combines data from several independent sources to provide users with the most accurate reports and forecasts. The utility shows the most essential parameters like air temperature and humidity as well as wind direction and speed.
An interesting feature of the app is the weather radar. Rainboo shows clouds, atmospheric fronts, and precipitation on the whole territory of the county. The system gathers information from satellites in real time and shows animation for the last three hours.
Graphs
By default, the application shows you a graph with the rain forecast for the coming two hours. However, it is also possible to check the conditions of the last hour as well as predictions for the next three, 24 and 48 hours. Similarly, Rainboo provides you with data about temperature and wind for the same periods.
If it is not enough, you can increase the forecast horizon up to 14 days. This is significantly more than in other similar apps like WeatherSmart or South Africa Weather. However, such far future predictions are not accurate at all.
