RIA DigiDoc is an Android application that allows Estonian citizens to remotely sign digital documents with their ID-card, Smart-ID and mobile-ID. It is also possible to verify the validity of signatures and upload files, similar to DocuSign.
Card reader
There is no need for registration or account creation to access the application. However, if you want to digitally sign documents, you will need your ID-card owner’s and validity data. It can be achieved by using a reader.
It is possible to use any card reader that can retrieve data from Estonian ID or digital ID. All you have to do is insert your ID into it. The info will be displayed in the corresponding section. After that, you will also be able to set PIN and PUK codes.
Signing documents
With the help of the application, it is possible to remotely sign digital documents with your ID-card, Smart-ID and mobile-ID. For this purpose, you need to upload a container with .bdoc, .ddoc or .asice extensions. If these files already have a signature, you can verify it from here too.
In addition, RIA DigiDoc allows users to encrypt and decrypt documents. It can be done in a special section. Furthermore, there is a history with all the uploaded files. Each one of them may be shared via social networks.
