RIU is an application for Android devices intended for clients of the RIU Hotels and Resort chain. Users can select hotels in 20 countries, view photos of rooms, and make reservations.
Getting started
At the start, you need to register by specifying some personal data. This allows you to create a RIU Class account and join the loyalty program. The application allows you to browse and select a direction, for example, Europe, Africa, Asia, and so on. It is possible to choose countries such as Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Mauritius, and many others. It is possible to choose hotel rooms in various locations around the world.
Hotels and booking
You can view hotel descriptions, reviews, ratings, and photos, just like in HoteLux. This allows you to evaluate the infrastructure and the availability of various amenities. It is possible to book the selected room and immediately make payment using an attached bank card or electronic wallet.
All your reservations are stored in a separate tab. You have the opportunity to check in online to avoid queues. In addition, this application allows you to get acquainted with the infrastructure of the selected hotel, book a table in a restaurant, sign up for spa treatments, choose an excursion, and so on.
Moreover, the utility allows you to call room service and order additional features. You can view the menu of restaurants located on the resort’s territory and order dishes. There is an option to write reviews and rate hotels.
