Room Planner is an Android application for selecting interior items and designing a room. The utility contains three-dimensional models of furniture and home accessories from the IKEA catalog.
Design
In the app you can recreate a real room in 2D and 3D format. It is possible to add bedroom, living room, kitchen, children’s room, study, bathroom, hallway, dining room and garage layouts separately.
Room Planner allows you to choose the shape of the room yourself. The catalog offers a variety of layout options, including rectangular, rounded, sliced and more. If necessary, you have an oppotunity to draw the walls manually. You may also choose the color for the fence with Dulux Visualizer.
The utility gives you the ability to set the size of the room, add arches, doors, windows, fireplace, switches, sockets, stairs, structures, ceiling and skirting boards.
Catalog
Room Planner contains more than 5 000 items from the IKEA Store, including furniture and decor for every type of room. You can choose from beds, rugs, desks, lamps, chairs, armchairs, kitchen cabinets, sofas and more. Some collections have additional subspecies, based on their functions and sizes.
Each item in the catalog is accompanied by a photo, description, item number, palette and a note of availability or unavailability. The app allows you to place a three-dimensional model of furniture or décor in the created room layout, taking into account the real size of the thing.
Once an object is added to the room, it can be moved, cloned, rotated, deleted as well as changed in color.
