Samsung Messages is an Android application that allows mobile device owners to send as well as receive SMS and MMS. This utility is official and is preinstalled on the gadgets of a well-known South Korean brand.
Conversations
At the start, this application requests access to the contact log. The Conversations tab displays your current correspondence with colleagues, friends, and family. It contains a list of all chats.
Tapping on the name opens a conversation with your interlocutor. The messages in it are arranged in chronological order, according to the time they were sent and received. You can scroll the screen with swipes and view the chat history. It is possible to send both regular SMS and MMS with attached photos.
Notifications and blocking
When new messages are received, the corresponding icon appears in the notification bar. The utility can inform users with push notifications.
It is possible to block unwanted contacts by blacklisting them. Therefore, users will not receive messages from them.
Remark
Please note that this utility is intended only for Samsung mobile devices, similar to Samsung Camera. Accordingly, it will not function correctly after installation on smartphones from another manufacturer.
