Sassa is a small application about contemporary Italian poet Mattia Sassaroli designed for Android mobile devices. The utility was created by Dantebus, an organization focused on publishing and technological development of various arts.
Personal poetry
This tiny app is part of a series of similar utilities dedicated to various artists. Among them, there are poets, painters, novelists, photographers, and even musicians and songwriters. There are dozens and dozens of such personal applications by the same developer Dantebus available on Google Play.
On the main page, Sassa presents the poet it is dedicated to, Mattia Sassaroli. You can admire his personal photo, read the biography, or go straight to his works. It is worth noting that everything in this utility, from the interface to the content itself, is in Italian. Considering the fact the app contains poetry, even having a translation tool may not be enough if you do not speak this language.
Social network
As already said, Sassa was developed by an Italian publishing house called Dantebus. This organization combines features of a traditional publisher with social media. Thousands of artists, from photographers to writers, get together to promote their works.
Dantebus organizes exhibitions, publishes paper and electronic books, releases quality albums with photos and paintings, and creates galleries. Additionally, they produce trailers, film promotional videos, and develop apps for their best artists.
