Send Anywhere is an application for Android that allows you to transfer files from one smartphone to another. A Wi-Fi connection is required to use this utility. It is possible to exchange links.
Sending files
After launching the app, you need to provide access to the camera, contact list, and internal memory of the mobile device. Then you can select files to upload. The utility allows you to transfer videos, images, music tracks, and documents. It is possible to select both individual items and entire folders.
Next, a six-digit code will appear on the screen. The recipient has to launch the application, go to the Receive tab, and enter the key. It is possible to scan the QR code with the smartphone’s camera.
It is worth noting that the digital code is valid for 10 minutes. If during this time you did not establish a connection with the second device, you need to repeat the sending. To ensure security, all information is transmitted in encrypted form. You can select the folder where the received data is saved.
Links
The utility allows you to upload files to cloud storage and send links to them to other users. All information is stored on the server for 48 hours.
