SmartCall is an Android application that allows you to make voice calls over the Internet. The utility supports sending text messages over the network.
Internet connection
Like Popcorn Buzz, the mobile app offers VoIP calls. The technology provides traditional dialing and texting over the Internet or any other IP networks. You can call your friends and relatives even with a weak signal or from roaming. The only thing you need for correct work is a connection.
SmartCall has a simple interface. When you open the utility you may use the keyboard to enter the number. It is possible to copy digits from the clipboard or save frequent contacts to the phonebook. These features provide quick dialing and connection to users.
Another option for connection is the Recent tab. It contains missed, incoming and outgoing calls. You can filter contacts for your convenience.
In addition to Internet calls, the utility supports sms. You have an option to send text messages to your loved ones, paying only for the amount of data.
Updates
The developers of SmartCall left the update of the application. Because of this it is impossible to access the functions. Today there are many utilities for similar purposes, such as WhatsApp or Viber.
