Smores is an Android application that helps users find new music. This service allows them to listen to snippets and add their favorite songs to Spotify playlists.
Music searching
The main purpose of the utility is to help music fans discover new songs and artists. To do this, the service offers users to choose their preferred snippet length from 5 to 60 seconds, as well as set up such filters:
- the number of artist’s followers;
- track bitrate;
- favorite genres, including pop, rock, disco, ambient, trance, RnB, hip-hop, and others;
- search tags, for example, Canadian pop.
Thus, the application will be able to select recommended tracks for users according to their preferences. Artificial intelligence chooses the best part of the song and offers to listen to its snippet. Please note that the proposed melodies are not repeated.
Playlists
Then you can click the Like button if you enjoy the track. This composition will be immediately added to Spotify. It is possible to choose a suitable playlist from existing ones or create a new one. The more snippets you listen to, the faster the application adapts to your tastes, selecting artists and genres.
