STAAR Online Testing Program is an Android application, which is designed for students studying in primary and secondary schools in Texas, USA. This official utility helps to test the level of knowledge and skills obtained after passing the curriculum in each class.
Purpose and account
The application is synchronized with the website of the same name. It is intended for students who study in Texas public primary and secondary schools. Testing is compulsory and takes place in all grades annually. The exam is conducted in the following subjects: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social studies.
This app can only be used by registered students, similar to Lexia Core5. During the authorization, they must specify their personal data.
Testing
STAAR has two modes – Testing and Practice. The first one is for passing the exam at the end of the year. The second one allows you to train your skills.
During the test, students can use various auxiliary tools built into the application interface. Their list included:
- calculator;
- periodic table of elements;
- virtual ruler and protractor;
- dictionary;
- notepad.
This app works in landscape mode and is optimized for tablets or smartphones with a large screen.
Various types of questions are provided. Users can select one answer from several, type the text using the keyboard, and draw on the screen.
Note
Please note that the application does not perform the declared functions. Apparently, the developers do not currently support it.
