Stay Safe is an Android application that helps you determine your risk of contracting coronavirus. The main purpose of the utility is to prevent COVID-19 and to inform the public about ways to protect themselves against the disease.
Social contact prevention
For the app to work properly you need to have Bluetooth turned on. This activates the specially developed Google-Apple Exposure Notification feature. It monitors social contacts, their proximity and duration. In case of interaction with a COVID-19 positive person, the user will be notified.
Unlike TRACE Taguig for similar purposes, Stay Safe does not require authorization. On the home page, the user can select the status and activate Bluetooth. Upon contact, he receives an alert. The utility records this data in a calendar. There is information about possible interactions with patients within 14 days.
It is worth noting that the service does not collect user data and does not share it with third parties. Information about a patient is anonymous.

Stay Safe is designed to reduce the spread of coronavirus infection in the Philippines. The developers ask you to share the information about the application with your loved ones, so that as many people as possible can keep a distance and be protected.
