Sunny Portal is an Android application, which is designed for users who have installed energy equipment manufactured by SMA Solar. First of all, it is intended for residents of Germany and other European countries. The utility allows them to remotely control solar electricity generation systems, as well as track consumption.
Power management
The main task of the application is the management of SMA Solar power plants. At the start, the installed equipment must be registered in the application and synchronized with it. Further, the utility will receive information and process it.
It is possible to track the amount of electricity generated over a given period. You can monitor the battery level. The application also determines the current consumption of electricity by various devices, similar to IBEDC.
There is an option to count the amount of purchased electricity and gradually reduce it. To do this, the utility calculates which electrical appliances can be connected to a solar power plant.
Additionally
There are weather forecasts that allow you to determine the possible energy production depending on the level of illumination. The application builds graphs and diagrams of generated and consumed electricity. You can view data by day, month, or year. It is also possible to calculate the total amount for the entire period of time.
In addition, the utility allows you to view data on electricity generation in different locations depending on the weather. It is possible to connect several solar power plants to the application and manage the operation of each of them.

The app is currently inactive. Apparently, the authors have stopped supporting it. They have developed a new utility and redirected users to its official page.
