SuperBeam is an Android application that uses Wi-Fi Direct technology to securely and quickly exchange large files between mobile devices. To pair gadgets, QR codes, NFC, or a special key entered manually are used.
Synchronization and transferring
After the app is installed, you need to select an action – receiving or transferring files. Further, the utility allows you to choose photos, videos, APKs, archives, contacts, and so on for sending.
It is worth noting that both devices must have the Superbeam application installed, and you also need to turn on Wi-Fi. In the absence of this utility, it is possible to pair the device via the web interface. To synchronize two gadgets, a QR code is used that needs to be scanned. Moreover, it is possible to use NFC if there is an appropriate chip inside the smartphone. There is an additional option to enter the pairing key manually.
Files and storage
All transferred files are stored in a separate directory by default, the name of which can be changed in the settings. The utility stores the history of all transfers and allows you to view it. Please note that in the case of a failure of Wi-Fi Direct, you can use the existing network connection.
