Terrarium is an Android application that provides a simple idle game to calm and relax. Here you can collect and grow virtual plants and trees similar to Forest.
Growing plants
The application offers users a simple relaxing idle game. This means that you can “play” it without any active interactions. The purpose is to create and expand your own garden by growing virtual plants and trees.
Once planted, they produce a certain amount of oxygen per second. The number is determined by the level of growth the plant is at. You can also tap on herbs to get extra oxygen. It is basically your currency and it can be used to upgrade crops, plant new seeds and open more levels of your shelf.
There are a couple of boost options available, to help speed up your oxygen production. These include Fertilizer, Intensive Watering and Repellant. Each one of them has their own countdown timer. They can be upgraded too, just as plants.
Subscription
Terrarium has an optional subscription with additional features. You will receive permanent multipliers, extra currency and customization items. Among them are various backgrounds, shelves and decorations. There will be no ADs as well. It is possible to test it beforehand with a free trial period.
