Trafik Alarm is an Android application that helps Danish motorists to keep track of the situation on the roads. The utility warns drivers about the location of speed cameras throughout Europe.
How to use
Please note that for the correct use of the app, GPS navigation needs to be enabled. The service operates in the background and notifies the driver about the situation on the roads not only in Denmark but also in other European countries.
It is possible to search for the desired locations and lay routes to them. The interactive map displays:
- traffic jams;
- roadworks;
- accidents and incidents;
- location of speed cameras;
- warnings of dangerous areas, for example, slippery roads, icing, and so on.
It is possible to receive audio notifications. To do this, you need to select this option in the settings and choose one of the three available voices. Moreover, you can help other users by notifying them of detected situations, including traffic jams, accidents, and so on.

What’s more, there are speedometer and odometer which allows you to track the speed of movement, as well as the distance traveled. Please note that the application has advanced options that are available after subscribing. There is a free trial version that lasts one month.
