TubeGod is an Android application for searching, viewing, and downloading various content. It allows you to search YouTube for music tracks, clips, movies, and videos, and then save them to your mobile device’s memory in various formats.
Searching and downloading
At the start, you need to log into your YouTube account. The application is synchronized with it and allows you to view the content of this video hosting. It is possible to listen to music and watch clips, as well as trailers and movies.
You can search content by title, artist, and keywords. Once the desired video is found, you can view it and then download it. The following formats are supported:
- MP4;
- FLV ;
- 3GP.
You can also save music tracks in MP3 format. Various resolutions are provided – from 240p to 720p. Download progress can be tracked in the notification bar.
All saved content is stored in a separate folder in the memory of the mobile device. It is displayed in the Downloads tab as a list.
Remarks
Both viewing and saving content require a stable network connection. Please note that the application is not official and has nothing to do with YouTube video hosting and its creators.
During testing, it was noticed that the utility is synchronized with the tubex.me website, which is currently inactive.
