TVCatchup is an application for Android that allows users to watch UK television channels in real-time. There are talk shows, movies, interviews, cartoons and other programs.
Channels
Users can browse a list of well-known UK TV channels. It is possible to connect to any station to watch news, movies, television shows and sports events. Streaming content does not require a subscription purchase or account creation. However, it is worth noting that illegal access to these channels may cause negative consequences.
There is an option to see what is broadcasting right now. In other words, you can watch TV shows in real-time. The application displays the time when the program starts and ends.
There is a built-in player for watching videos. You can only stream the content, there is no option to pause and skip forward or backward. If you would like to use another similar application where these features are available, you can download DStv.
Current state
During testing it occurred that TVCatchup did not correspond to reality. The channels are not available. The list is empty and there is no content. Seems that developers stopped supporting the app and shut it down.
