Tynker is an application for Android that helps young students to learn how to code. The educational process takes place in a playful way. This utility is designed for children of primary and secondary school age, similar to Da Vinci Kids.
Getting started
The application helps students to understand the basic principles of programming in a visual way. At the start, they will have to create their own projects on various topics. All of them are presented in cartoon style.
There are step-by-step guides for creating simple games and applications, about 200 in total. Children can use templates, backgrounds, character models, different elements, and so on.
At first, kids will apply ready-made visual blocks. In the future, they will master the basics of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Swift.
Skills
Tynker offers young students visually learn the concept of variables, algorithms, conditions, loops, subroutines, and other functions.
During the training, children will have to solve puzzles, play mini-games, draw characters, attach music, and so on. All their projects can be published in the Community section.
