UKVCAS IDV is an application for Android devices developed in collaboration with UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services. With this utility, applicants can confirm their identity and provide personal information and various documents in digital form.
How to use
First of all, this application is intended for immigrants who wish to apply for a residence permit in the UK. The utility allows you to submit the necessary documents digitally without making an appointment. All your data are checked automatically and then sent directly to UKVI.
Please note that at the start you have to register on the UKVCAS website by entering your email address and username, as well as creating a password. You can log into the application with these credentials. However, you need a Unique Application Number consisting of sixteen digits. It is possible to receive UAN in an invitation letter from UKVI.
Further, you can use the application and upload photocopies of your documents into it. It is possible to send pictures from the gallery for verification or take them immediately with your mobile device’s camera. The list of required data is displayed in a separate tab.
Verification
After all the necessary information has been uploaded, the document verification starts. You may easily track the status of your request. The app sends you notifications when your data check is completed.
Verified documents are automatically sent to UKVI for registration of a residence permit. It is possible to monitor your application and receive an alert when it is reviewed.
