UppTalk is an Android application that is designed to send text messages and make calls for free. It uses a network connection and IP telephony technology for this purpose. The service does not depend on the users’ mobile operator and does not charge for roaming.
Account and communication
Only registered customers can use this app. To create an account, they need to provide an email address and come up with a unique username.
The utility offers a virtual phone number, which does not depend on mobile operators and roaming. This allows you to make calls and send text messages using cloud technology.
The service is cross-platform. It works in Canada, the USA, Mexico, and many other countries. Forwarding messages and incoming calls for service customers are free of charge.
To communicate the mobile numbers of unregistered users, you will need the internal currency, the so-called credits.
Additional functions
During the correspondence, clients can use stickers and emojis. It is possible to share photos and send files, including photos and videos. Voice messages are also provided.
The utility sends the user notifications of missed calls.
Note
