VR Matkalla is an Android application that allows Finnish users to purchase tickets for suburban and intercity flights of the state-owned railway company VR Group. The utility is official.
How to use
Using this service, clients can buy not only single or group tickets, but also season passes for regular travelers.
On the main page, there is a special form where you need to specify the place of departure and destination, as well as the date and number of passengers. The application shows you the available trains. It is possible to choose the type of carriage and convenient seats.
Tickets
You can immediately buy the tickets. There is an option to attach a bank card to the app, similar to Finnkino Leffa. In addition, payment for the trip is possible via online banking or the Mobile Pay service.
The app displays purchased tickets in a separate tab and also sends them to your e-mail. In addition, this utility displays all the information about the upcoming trip:
- train departure time;
- change in schedule;
- train arrival time;
- transit information and so on.
Users can cancel trips and return tickets as well as change them.
Authorization
Please note that only registered customers can use this service. They have to create an account, indicating an email address and phone number.
