Walkman is an application for Android devices that is an audio player, which offers numerous settings and high-quality sound. It is developed by Sony Corporation and intended for smartphones of the same brand. This utility supports various music track formats, including MP3, FLAC, and more.
Melody management
Walkman scans the internal memory of the mobile device and finds all the music tracks stored in it. They are displayed on the main page of the app as a list.
You can manage tracks and organize them into folders. It is possible to sort songs by artists, albums, and genres. Track search is provided.
The application integrates with Google Drive cloud storage. Thus, you may save your favorite songs there. In addition, you can share tracks via instant messengers and social media.
Listening
There is a separate tab for listening to music. Users have access to controls for rewinding a track, pausing, moving to the next melody, and so on. It is possible to add your favorite songs to the Favorites section.
There is a section with playlists. Users can form them, based on their own preferences. Also, Walkman displays albums and tracks covers.
Unfortunately, the app no longer works with metadata and does not allow you to view the song details.
