WCLC is an application for Android that allows residents of certain regions of Canada to buy lottery tickets, scan them, and check winnings. The utility is official and developed by Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
Useful notes
Please note that this service does not work in all Canadian regions. It can be used in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. It is worth noting there is no need to register and create an account, unlike NZ Lotto. At the start, you just have to confirm that you are over 18 years old.
Lotteries and winnings
The main function of the application is the ability to scan lottery tickets. It is possible to use the camera of the mobile device for this purpose.
This service accepts all tickets purchased in the specified regions, including sports, Zing, and draw-based ones. In addition, the application allows you to find the nearest lottery store on the map. It is necessary to allow utility access to GPS navigation.
Unfortunately, there is no way to get directions. However, you can find out the exact addresses of stores.
Furthermore, there is a separate tab with instructions for LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX, and ALL IN lotteries. It is possible to see the total jackpot as well as the distribution of the main and additional prizes. The winning numbers of the main draw are indicated. The data in the application is updated in real-time mode.
