Were Related is a mobile application for Android that helps you to find relatives among your friends and famous personalities. The utility is the official mobile client of the well-known web resource Ancestry.com.
Authorization
At the start, you need to register. To do this, you can use your Facebook account, existing Ancestry profile, or email. Next, it is necessary to enter your personal data, including first and last name, place, and date of birth.
To build a family tree, you have to provide information about your parents, as well as your grandparents.
Searching the relatives
If users already have an Ancestry account, then they can import a family tree from it. Next, the application searches the extensive database of the web resource named above. The utility determines users’ possible relatives among their friends, acquaintances, as well as other people. Famous personalities are included.
Results
This application indicates the degree of relationship and shows you the photos of your possible family members. The received information can be saved and shared through social networks and instant messengers, including Pink Facebook, WhatsApp, or Snapchat.
The utility notifies you if new relatives are found. In addition, the application allows you to determine which of them live nearby.

During testing, it turned out that the developers no longer support the application. For this reason, the content is not accessed.
