WiFiKill is an Android application for Wi-Fi connection management and traffic control. This utility allows you to block access to the wireless network and create restrictions for users.
Device requirements
Please note that the app can only be used on a device for which superuser rights were previously obtained. In the absence of root, the WiFiKill options are not available.
Connection management
At the start, the utility analyzes the Wi-Fi network and determines the number of its users, as well as their MAC and IP addresses. The list displays all connected devices’ names.
You can select the username whose traffic you want to limit. Further, by pressing the button, its access to the network is blocked. Tapping on the Kill all icon allows you to disable Wi-Fi for all users.
It is worth noting that the blocking method used by the application does not work for disabling Intel-based devices. In addition, the utility does not operate on smartphones with an OS version higher than Android 5.0.
Additionally
The application is able to determine not only the IP and MAC addresses of devices but also their manufacturers. Notifications about new-found connections are provided via vibration signal.
