Yuzu is an Android application that serves as an emulator for the Nintendo Switch gaming console. The utility allows you to run old video games on your smartphone. You can adjust the image quality and control settings.
System Requirements
It is worth noting that at the time of writing this review, the developers have completely stopped updating the utility. Therefore, errors may occur when using the emulator.
Just like Winlator, the Yuzu has a number of requirements to operate. In order to run the games, you need an OS Android 11 and later. Additionally, it is necessary to have at least eight gigabytes of RAM and graphics core drivers that support Vulkan extensions. Officially, the utility is compatible only with mobile devices based on Qualcomm processors.
Launching Games
To begin using the emulator, you need to allow it access to the smartphone’s internal memory. Then, you will be prompted to specify the path to the game images. Additionally, you can adjust the graphics and sound settings. A virtual joystick is used to control characters in games.
The application allows you to save progress and resume playing later. There is also a debugging feature in case errors are detected.
Resolution scaling and texture filtering are supported. For more convenient control, you can connect an external game controller.
