Zerofy is an application for Android devices that helps you to determine and reduce your carbon footprint. This utility estimates the environmental emissions from your entire household. The interface of the service is currently available in 10 languages including English, German, French, and some others.
Getting started
At the start, you need to create an account and answer a few questions related to your household and lifestyle. You have to specify if you have a car, pets, garden, and so on. In addition, the heating system of the house, and the presence of solar panels or a wind generator are necessary to provide.
The app determines the total emissions from your household and defines your carbon footprint. It is calculated in kilograms of CO2.
Emissions and actions
The Emissions tab allows you to estimate your carbon footprint by day, week, month, or year as a bar chart. It is possible to set a goal for zero impact by a specific date.
This service helps you determine how you can gradually reduce your footprint. Zerofy offers useful tips and recommendations to decrease your carbon emissions based on your lifestyle.
In the Actions section, you can mark the activities that help to make your CO2 footprint lower. There is a tab with recommendations for the selection of solar panels. Also, you can find guides on the use of energy-saving technologies.
