This application operates in a similar way as a social media platform. Thus, wallpapers and other backgrounds are usually uploaded by users. You have to sign in to upload your own images as well as download content, or leave likes.
Backdrops offers a wide collection of pictures across various themes. Similar to the Wallpaper Engine app, images are sorted into categories for easy navigation. There is a Wallpaper of the Day tab that demonstrates the most popular images over the past day.
Users can choose from a wide range of images, including minimalist designs, patterns, aerial views, and abstract art. There are high-quality photos of nature and ones specifically for AMOLED screens.
Installation
Each wallpaper includes detailed information such as size, resolution, category, and number of downloads.
In order to set an image as your wallpaper, please open it and click on the SET button. The app will prompt you to choose whether to update the background on the home or lock screen.
It is possible to save the images and add them to Favorites. Please be aware that some wallpapers may not be available without a subscription.
