BIR TIN Verifier is an Android application from the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the Philippines. This utility is official. The service allows citizens to submit requests for a Taxpayer Identification Number. Also, it is possible to check TIN.

Privacy and accessibility

The app does not require registration. However, users will have to provide some personal data when making a request. The information is stored in the utility temporarily and is deleted immediately after the transaction is completed. This service does not transfer details to third parties.

Please note that the app is synchronized with the Bureau of Internal Revenue website. This system is available to users from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All requests received on weekends and holidays are processed on the next working day.

How to use

The app is intended for individual taxpayers only, it cannot be used by owners of companies and businesses. To send a request, you need to fill out a form. It is necessary to notify first, middle, and last names, as well as the date of birth and address. You also have to take a selfie with a valid ID.

Next, the request is sent to the agent, which processes it. After a while, you receive a response. It will show up directly in the app.

Note

It is worth noting that this utility is inactive at the moment. Now Philippinos can obtain and verify a TIN via chatbot or Online registration and update system (ORUS) on the BIR website.
